ive heard 1 inch a foot and tons of crap but the average is what im lookin for. ive had it done before without long hair but it was a few years ago and i was gonna give it another go. ive got an inch and a half prolly not enough but i was just wondering how much longer, thank you.

Dats enough hair to braid.Da people who say it aint dnt kno what dey talkin bout.I braid people hair dat short all da time.U just need to get it braided by someone good.Then again u can add a lil weave if u want ur braids longer.

It depends who is braiding it because some poeple do it skinny and make the hair look longer. Some do it big and the hair looks shorter. About half an inch will be fine.
