Long hair and getting highlights with the cap okay?

Well im going to get highlights tomorrow with the cap

I heard tht gettting it done w/ foil is better

but im getting it done w/ the cap

and my hair is pretty long....

and im mixed w/ black and white

soo anyone one have anything to say?

like if its okay im going to a salon

i just dont want my hair to be ruine

Do you feel like your breaking the 'hairdressing rules?'(Hahaha) We-ell the ONLY reson foils became trendy was because the colourist could control EXACTLY where and how much AND low-lights were trendy for a while. What's intersting is there isnt much price diff and a HUGE diff in the amount of time and work for the stylist...streaks are DEAD EASY by comparison! My 9 year old daughter has boring dark blonde hair but its that REALLY thick hair like mariah careys and I've just steaked hers this week, it looks UNREAL!!!

So have confidence, but remember this...you can buy the caps seperately, you could buy the dye or bleach and dye(for say pink streaks on black hair) and pay a girlfriend luch and get her to do it at home!! EASY PEASY! Oh! Only use a plastic hook not metal, they rip hell out of your hair! Good Luck and I'm sure you'll look great!

since you're going to a salon it's okay but don't try it at home.

it will likely pull your hair a lot, even when I had shoulder length hair and did it it hurt like beep!! but a professional should be able to do it without much pain.

foil is much better, but do whichever the stylist thinks is best.

cap high light???? that is so ages ago... does people still do that.. i mean foil technique, works really well, so you have nothing to worry about. and black and white???you mean platinum blond with nature black hair, than your hair is gonna go though too much bleaching than that is going to damage your hair ....
